DMC Satin Floss 1008F

This bold metallic magenta red has purple undertones. The magenta dye was developed in the late 19th century by European scientists. The first to use it were European armies, who adopted the color for their uniforms. It is named after an Italian city in Lombardy where French troops in magenta uniforms were victorious.

Highly resistant dyes ensure that your work can be washed at 30℃ without fear of the color fading or bleeding. Made with highly fade-resistant dyes so your needlework can be enjoyed for generations.

It comes in 8-meter skeins and its six strands are easily separated. Add depth and fine details to your work by varying the number of strands used.
