The Zoé, the Jellyfish, DMC amigurumi kit lets you crochet a turquoise bell-shaped jellyfish with a smiling face and closed eyes, from which fuchsia pink and turquoise curly tentacles hang. These curls, achieved by working the yarn in a spiral, give it all its movement and make it stand out when hanging from a bag.

It measures between 8 and 15 cm depending on how the tentacles fall, and includes a metal lobster clasp for attaching it directly to a bag, backpack, or keys. It is a short project, designed to be crocheted in an afternoon, and the curly technique is surprisingly simple once you get the hang of it. The cotton and acrylic yarn has a specially designed twist to prevent fraying, which is much appreciated when working spirals.
