Permin “Gingerbread Cookies” Cross Stitch Table Runner - 10-6210

Complete your Christmas table with this warm Permin cross-stitch kit, a square mat framed by a gingerbread border. The figures, embroidered in caramel tones, alternate with small stylized fir trees and feature characteristic white icing details, as well as a red heart on the chest that provides the only pop of intense color. The motif runs around the entire perimeter and leaves the center clear, so the piece elegantly frames whatever you place on top without taking away from it.

The natural ecru Aida fabric gives it that rustic and Scandinavian feel that works just as well in a traditional decor as in a Nordic-style table setting. Measuring 39 x 39 cm, it is ideal as a centerpiece mat for a round or square table, as a base for a Christmas centerpiece or a candle, or to decorate a console, sideboard, or side table. Since it is worked in full cross-stitch with a very limited palette, the project progresses at a good pace and the result is a table piece you will take out every December for years to come. A very rewarding project and a great gift for anyone who enjoys setting a beautiful table for the holidays.
